Hydrates Hair
If your hair is dry, frizzy, prone to breaking, or curly, it may be beneficial to add a nutritious, moisturizing coconut oil hair mask to your weekly hair routine. I do this weekly being that my hair is curly and dry, especially when I've been applying heat to it more frequently than I'd like! For best results try to use organic, unrefined coconut oil (I get mine at Trader Joes).
- Start with a damp hair & add 2-3 tbsps of warmed (not hot) coconut oil
- Apply it throughout your hair (be sure to massage into your scalp a bit & get the tips of your hair really well)
- After coating all your hair, place a shower cap over your head for 1-2 hours, or leave it on overnight for a deeper treatment (which is what I do)
- Lastly, rinse & shampoo (if you do it overnight you may want to shampoo twice)

Coconut Oil Is an Amazing moisturizer! If you use it in place of your daily lotion all over your body your skin will develop a natural spf. The nutrients in coconut oil build up your skins strength against the sun and you will not burn as easily. Supports your lovely skins natural bronzing abilities!
